nuVPN Home — your home is your VPN
Turn a computer you already have at home into a private VPN for your whole family. Everyone connects through your real home internet — from anywhere in the world.
Traffic exits from your home — sites see your real home IP, as if you never left.
How it works
Install at home
Install the nuVPN app on a computer at home (Mac, Windows or Linux) and enable Home mode.
Invite your family
Get a one-time pairing code from the app and share it with family members.
Connect from anywhere
They enter the code in their nuVPN app — and browse through your home connection, fully encrypted.
Why a home IP changes everything
Banks and services trust it
A real residential IP looks like you're at home — fewer CAPTCHAs, fewer blocks, no 'suspicious login' alerts.
One home, one family circle
Invite family members with a single code, see who's enrolled and remove access anytime.
Private by design
Traffic is encrypted from the member's device all the way to your home. No third-party servers in the middle.
No new hardware
The computer already sitting at home does the job. Nothing to buy, nothing to wire.
Made for real life
Living or working abroad
Banking, government and streaming services from back home keep working — they see your family's home IP.
A family member traveling
On any hotel or airport Wi-Fi, they appear to be at home — safely and privately.
Kids and parents
Family devices browse through your home connection, wherever they are.
Common questions
Do I need special hardware?
No. Any powered-on home computer running Mac, Windows or Linux can act as your nuVPN Home node.
Does the home computer need to stay on?
Yes — while family members are connected, the home computer acts as their gateway. It uses your existing home internet.
How is this different from a regular VPN?
Regular VPNs route you through datacenter servers, which many sites detect and block. nuVPN Home gives you a real residential IP — your own.
